For sale is my Yamaha YR3, which I have owned for a while and it’s now time for me to sell. The V5 document is present and in my name. The engine is in very good condition, with strong compression and new pistons fitted. The bike runs very nicely and has new tyres, front and back. I have replaced the switch gear with a NOS one and also fitted a new tacho cable and clutch cable. The bike comes with some spares, including NOS pistons and rings, and a 350 badge for the side panel. All oil leaks have been fixed, and the engine is now dry and in very good running order. The chrome is not bad for a 50+ year old bike, but with some work, it could be very good for showing or just riding as it is. It was imported from the US and has matching engine and frame numbers. I have fitted a new battery, and all electrics work, ready for riding in the summer. Overall, it’s a very nice and rare YR3, with not many around these days compared to the YR5s.
