Selling on behalf of my father-in-law who bought this Triumph TR25W 250 Trophy in 1969 as a mini project. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, he is now unable to complete it. The bike has been witnessed running previously before being purchased. However, it requires some remedial wiring work to bring it up to working order, which should be a simple task for someone with the necessary skills. Mechanically, it seems fine as it kicks over, and gears engage and disengage. Cosmetically, it’s in very nice condition, with sound tyres and brakes. It has an oil leak on the left-hand engine casing or gear lever shaft. The sale includes a brand new battery and various receipts and documented history accompanying the bike. Overall, it’s a lovely classic British bike that, with minor maintenance repairs, will be a sound investment.
