1968 BSA B25 Starfire
I’m sadly having to part with my B25 Starfire due to not having time to use and appreciate her anymore and I’d rather pass her on, than sit in a shed for most of its life.
Its a 1968 model with a steel tank upgrade i did a few years back, still have the original fibre glass tank to go with it.
And has quite a unique tachometer attachment too.
Engine/frame numbers match V5
And i honestly couldn’t tell you the correct milage to what the clocks say.
It hasn’t run up in a while, but i know it does run, has had new clutch plates, big end shells and little end bushes, and complete new bearings and oil seals all round.
Plus valves and Guides.
Engine is still running on standard bore piston, which i have a new piston which i never got round to treat it to.
Only faults i can point out are….
The chrome has flaked on the front mud guard and rims and abit on the exhaust bracket.
The engine has a rattle that appears now and again which i beleive it to be some end float in the cam shaft, which i never got round to shim and sort out.
Also the gearbox oil seal by the drive sprocket has abit of a leak.
Also comes with a good supply of spares, some tools and a load of books/manuals
