This very cool 1966 Triumph T100C Tiger 500 custom bobber has just arrived from sunny California. All duties and taxes have been paid, and it is tax and MOT exempt, making it easy to register for the road.

We fitted a new battery and the bike started right up. It runs and sounds great and shifts through the gears just as it should. The engine has been completely rebuilt with high compression pistons, and it has a slightly bobbed look with a big twin leading brake and hub, as well as new chunky tires. It also has a Corbin seat and a straight through exhaust.

Although it still needs finishing touches, mechanically it’s sound and doesn’t require much work. The tank has been stripped back but will need lacquering if you want to keep it that way.
