1966 Peugeot/Motobe Cane BV 50cc Moped 100% Original And With UK Registration
For sale is a rare Peugeot BB moped, model introduced in 1964, with a wonderful patina that should be preserved as it is, though it can be restored if desired. The moped was coated in grease and not used since 1992, but the chrome is preserved perfectly, including the gold fuel cap, authentic headlight embossed Peugeot lion head, and unmarked rubber seat. All cables are original, and there is no rust on the moped. The long-faded transfers are available at reasonable prices from the Vintage Motorcycle Club if desired. The moped is registered with the DVLA as JAU 194D, but a duplicate V5 will cost an additional £25. The moped can be started but the fuel must have been in the tank for 30 years, so a thorough clean of the carb and fuel lines is recommended. A viewing is suggested to fully appreciate this rare collectable moped. The seller can deliver at a cost of £1.50 per mile from Matlock once funds have cleared. The moped is being sold on behalf of probate from a vast estate of collectible mopeds and scooters and is being sold with no reserve.
