LAMBRETTA LI 200 SPECIAL 1964
A Lambretta LI 150 Silver Special, imported from Italy in 1998. Full restoration and rebuild in 2008. Converted to 12 volts electronic ignition.
Fitted with an SX 200 engine, which was rebuilt with an Arthur Francis stage 4 cylinder and lightweight piston in August 2021. Fitted with a 25mm Dell Orto carburettor from MB, new 12 volt regulator and CDI unit.
Resprayed in dark navy blue and ‘Thorn White’ (a sort of off-white/cream), similar to the respray offered by British concessionaires in the 1960s.
It has been well looked after and carefully stored. It needs some more running in following the engine rebuild, but it is running perfectly.
