1962 Triumph T100 ISDT style trials/ enduro. Great project with V5C NO RESERVE
Here is an exciting opportunity to own a Triumph T100SS ISDT replica, perfect for any vintage trials enthusiast. This bike was created from a 1962 T100SS, and has been stored in a dry environment for at least 40 years, preserving its condition remarkably well.
The engine turns over and feels perfect, and all gears select without issue. The throttle and brakes are operational, and the forks pump smoothly. The bike has never been registered as Historic, but comes with a V5C document and is eligible for free road tax and MOT exemption.
Cosmetically, the bike has light rust or corrosion, but no significant rust or rot. The enamel on the frame is old and thin, and the alloy tank is in good condition with only one dent on the left side. The wheel rims are sound, but the chrome is poor, and the tires appear to be ancient. The cylinder has no fin damage, but has a small chip to one head fin.
While the bike is unrestored, it presents a unique opportunity to own a classic pre-65 trials bike in the style of Roy Peplow’s ISDT machines. With its originality intact, the new owner can decide whether to recommission or restore it to its former glory.
Don’t miss out on this rare and remarkable Triumph T100SS ISDT replica.
