1962 BSA Gold Star Competition.
One of something like 125 produced by the BSA factory for Hap Alzina in the US, the 500cc DBD-engined Competition model (popularly known as the All Sports model in the States) is about as rare a Good Star as you kind find – and quite possibly the only one for sale in the world in its correct specification today.
It benefits from it’s original Lucas Competition magneto and GP carburettor and has completed 290 miles since a full extensive, no-expense-spared engine rebuild where the following parts were installed:
Pearson crank with Carillo rod (balanced for the Omega piston)
Hoffman main bearings
Lightweight pushrods
ABSAF race fuel pump
